What is your role at Mathews Comfort?

Technical Assistant.

What first attracted you to Mathews Comfort as a company?

I have worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years, but Mathews Comfort offers a fresh, innovative and personal approach which really interested me. I still have a lot to learn in an ever-changing industry and I was keen for a new challenge from a new perspective.

What are your personal objectives?

I enjoy learning new skills and staying up to date with new technology, so my latest personal objective is to master the new platforms and technology that I have been introduced to at Mathews Comfort. Client service levels are core to any business, and I hope to learn new and more efficient ways of delivering that service for our clients.

What skills and experience will you bring to the role?

I have a passion for the accurate and efficient organisation of absolutely everything! I hope that my attention to detail will add value in my new role. I have worked in the financial services industry in South Africa, Mozambique and Swaziland with a wide spectrum of clients so I have learned what clients need and expect, which motivates me to always try to be one step ahead.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy working as part of a friendly and dynamic team! Mathews Comfort offers a great working environment, so each day in the office is enjoyable and different. Everyone at Mathews Comfort is focused on helping our clients to live their best lives, and to be a part of that process is very rewarding.

How would you describe yourself as an individual?

I’m friendly and approachable, with a good sense of humour! I have good listening skills and I enjoy helping people. I have a very adventurous nature and I love finding and exploring new places, so if I’m not at work, you’ll find me out and about with my new puppy, Riley.

How would you sum up your role in 3 words?

Innovative, challenging and rewarding.
