Mathews Comfort gains Cyber Essentials Plus certification

We have recently gained our Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certificates, giving our clients total reassurance that we have measures in place to secure our IT system against cyberattack.

Cyber Essentials is a simple but effective Government-backed scheme designed to protect organisations of every size against a whole range of the most common cyberattacks. Although cyberattacks come in many shapes and sizes, the vast majority are very basic in nature, carried out by relatively unskilled individuals – the equivalent of a thief trying your front door to see if it’s unlocked!

Cyber Essentials provides guidance on how to address these basics, preventing the most common attacks, with certification awarded to show that an organisation has defences in place to protect against attack.

We are delighted to announce that Mathews Comfort has achieved both Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification, proving that we have the necessary technical controls in place. Cyber Essentials Plus is the higher level scheme, which involved having hands-on technical verification by an external auditor.

Having met the necessary standards, we are now able to display the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certificates on our website, giving a clear indication of our firm’s cyber security level and reassuring our customers that our systems are fully protected to Government recommended standards.

All of which means you can talk to Mathews Comfort with complete confidence, secure in the knowledge that our systems offer the highest levels of protection against cyberattack, and this has been verified by an independent, Government-backed scheme.
