Vicki Smith has recently joined us. We thought it would be good to get to know her and to find out what skills she can bring to this new role.

What is your role at Mathews Comfort?
Client Relationship Manager

What attracted you to the role at Mathews Comfort?
A friend shared the vacancy on Social Media, when I saw it I just knew the role was made for me (I wasn’t even looking for a new job)!

What are your personal objectives?
I understand the importance of client relationships, so one of my personal objectives is to get to know each and every one of our clients!  This will obviously take time but hopefully I will make some headway with some of the client events we have coming up this year and our Client Advisory Board which I’m just in the process of organising.

I’m also very excited to be involved with the launch of The Mathews Comfort App, my objective will be to have at least 250 clients making full use of the app by the end of 2019.

What skills and experience can you bring to the role?
I’ve worked within various industries throughout my career with all positions providing outstanding client care. Each of these roles has taught me to listen carefully to my client’s needs.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love meeting clients and hearing about the meaningful differences Mathews Comfort has made to their life’s. I have learnt that Financial Planning is not just about finances, it’s about giving our clients the freedom and confidence to lead the life they want to, to be part of this is a privilege.

Before working at Mathews Comfort, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?  My most unusual job experience I gained during my time in Australia, where I lived and worked on a farm picking grapes and oranges.

How would you describe yourself as an individual?
I’m friendly, enthusiastic and love a giggle.  I like to be kept busy and when I’m not at work you will find me running around after my three children and spaniel Luna!

In 3 words – sum up your job…..  Rewarding, challenging, inspiring
